CISTEMS was founded in 1993 and was the first company to offer electronic messaging services in 1994 to INFOCOMM, SUPERCOMM and TIA. Since then, CISTEMS has always been on the leading edge of implementing new technology. In 1998, CISTEMS introduced web-based messaging.

In 2000, CISTEMS produced web-based registration software for Orthodontists with satellite hotel computer (ISDN lines) CE stations. CISTEMS NFC (Near Field Communication) was introduced in 2013 at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Convention and provided accurate, real-time CE credits which replaced outdated RFID and QR barcodes. With the addition of our European NFC partners, CISTEMS will continue its role as the industry’s innovator by delivering custom services and technology that provide cost-saving services for associations and special meetings.
